I have had a passionate interest in interior design and architecture for over 25 years. I’ve had the pleasure of participating in building and remodeling several of my own dwellings, including building cabins in a small "off the grid" community in my early 20’s in Ohio, remodeling a barn in my 30’s on an Aptos horse ranch, and most recently building a home in the Santa Cruz mountains. My own designs are inspired by industrial architecture, as well as the more organic forms of the Art Nouveau movement and the architecture of Frank Gehry, Antoni Gaudi, Hundert Wasser, and Zaha Hadid. I enjoy most the unexpected.

I frequently collaborate with other artists on my projects, including artist/jeweler/ blacksmith Simone Janssen of Revolving Metals and Cristie Thomas and Scott Lindberg of L:M:N:O Arts.
